Madhubani paintings mostly depict the beauty of nature and scenes from the ancient epics. Natural objects like the sun, the moon, animals and plants are also widely painted, along with scenes from the royal court. Traditionally, this style of painting was one of the skills passed down from generation to generation in families of the Mithila Region. The spiral-bound journal features 40 unlined pages.
