As the weather warms up I looked a very long time for a beautiful rayon robe that when washed would feel like cool water against my skin.
I found this beautiful cream colored robe with arabesques scrolls ... ordered it... and I was ELATED when it arrived. It's exactly what I was looking for!
I washed it right away... on the delicate cycle in my washing machine and hung it dry. The following day I put it in my dryer with the steam setting on and it came out of the dryer feeling like cool running water over my skin! I am obsessed! I already ordered a second robe in another color!
Goes with denim, black, Grey, white, turquoise, teal and navy. large, but with great drape so that you can tie it in any way. always get asked about it.
I forget how many of these 100 percent cotton robes I have obtained for myself and for gifts in recent years. The fabric patterns are all gorgeous, but I am partial to this cool, dreamy, sea-glass colored blue green design. It reminds me of a Gustav Klimt painting. I sew; garment construction is excellent. I wash in cold water then hang on a hanger to dry naturally. I have not had any of these robes bleed or fade. None have even worn out; though I live in them around my home. But I have quite a few so I rotate them! :)
