I love this exquisitely crafted daily reminder in my home that our hands have been made to help hold the burdens, and our feet are made to walk in the footsteps of our fellow human beings with love and compassion.
This was a gift for my daughter and her husband for their 5th wedding anniversary, which is traditionally crafted from wood. It's beautifully made and she loved it.
The piece is very beautiful. You can almost see the wings flutter as the hummingbirds feed. It was surprising to me how light-weight it is. And it's amazing that it was created from what was basically 'trash' wood.
