This item exceed all expectations that I had. It's a thing of beauty, it bigger than expected (which is a good thing), the craftsmanship is superb, and one of the best anniversary gifts I could have ever purchased. If I could have only one jewelry box...

I collect jewelry boxes and had several times more capacity than I do jewelry to store in them. However if I had to pare down my collection to one item, it would be this one. Even if I had to pare it down to only the boxes whose space I actually need, this one would be a viable contender against the option of keeping multiple boxes, especially if space was a concern. Each drawer is capacious and the shallow but ample storage in each compartment means that it would be very easy to find things. It's also very pretty, even as someone who doesn't usually go for green as a decor choice, apart from plants. The colors don't pop as much in natural light as they do in pictures, but the engravings are still really nice.
