I ordered this hat for a niece and another in a different color for her sister. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the hat as well as the fantastic packaging it came in. I carefully unwrapped it to inspect the hat, and then wrapped it right back up in the packaging it came in. I will gift them as is to the girls. Everything about the hat and the packaging screams heirloom quality. I plan to send the information about the artisan to them as well. I am so impressed with the entire experience. I have a BIG HEAD and lots of hair. This incredibly soft alpaca hat fits me so well I decided to keep it for myself even though I bought it for a friend. I have several things from Alfredo Falcon and love them all. The red ruana I bought years ago is my fav wrap. I may have to buy a black one to go with this hat.

I spent a lot of time deliberating over the color and selected the Ivory leaves beret. Goes with anything (including the black alpaca ruana cape I purchased) Keeps my head warm in the cold weather. Useful for the bad hair days as well. I worried that it might not fit as I usually have trouble with size. My head measures 24" circumference at above eyebrows. I can wear pulled over forehead or like a Parisian tilted to one side without an issue. It is light in weight and has a very pretty pattern.
