This sea star is a beautiful, well made talavera art piece. Reminds me of growing up near the beach and the gulf and finding sea stars. Very colorful, will brighten any area where it hangs. Can tell it was made with pride because of all the intricate patterns and detail. Love this piece!

Beautifully made, with a charming expression on his face, this little guy makes me smile every time I look at him. Lovely feel in the hand and a nice mix of glazed details and fired clay texture. This tray is really beautiful. I am very happy with it, but I would caution buyers that the finish is not smooth and glossy, as I thought it would be. It?s more of a porous, Terra cotta feel. I say this because, in spite of its description as suitable for food, microwave safe and dishwasher safe, I can?t imagine doing any of those things. I suspect my daughter will use it more for a catch all tray on her bureau. It?s truly lovely.
