I love this artist's sculptures of people. She seems able to capture and preserve those special moments. I've given a number of these away, and everyone is always awed by them and seem to really treasure them.
The San Andres Xecul Angel that soars in the parlor of my nineteenth century row house in Baltimore reminds me to be kind to strangers and the homeless man who crosses your path for you may be entertaining angels unawares.
I was amazed at the quality and work that went into this piece. I must say that I expected something "tinnier" and smaller. This is so well crafted and unique that it will be hard to let it go. I love it, but it will go to my grandson.
