El mango de madera de sese está tallado a mano para parecerse a una princesa Guro, hasta su peinado trenzado. Luego se fijan los pecíolos o tallos de las hojas de palma al mango con un paño de algodón negro. La escoba cuenta con un lazo para colgarla en la pared si lo desea.
