Basada en máscaras que alguna vez se usaron en ceremonias de iniciación relacionadas con el Reino de Kuba, un reino precolonial en África Central, esta máscara de pared representa espíritus de la naturaleza o mbuti, habitantes del bosque. El artesano ghanés Christopher Nyasafo talla la máscara en madera de sesé local, luego la seca durante dos semanas antes de lijarla, aplicar arcilla blanca y pintar los patrones faciales contrastantes, las orejas audaces, los detalles del cuello que sobresalen y el tocado de pájaro único.

Yes it looks just like the photo and thats a fantastic thing but when i had it in my hands its was so magical! I hung it on my wall immediately and Im just in awe of the craftsmanship. I would very much recommend this artists work to anyone without hesitation

We love it. The use of the primary colors is wonderful, and stays within earth tones. A happy mask, which makes us smile and brightens the room!
