Esta encantadora caja decorativa está elaborada por Miguel Díaz en México al estilo de la artesanía huichol. La pequeña caja redonda, hecha de cerámica y papel maché, está cubierta con diminutas cuentas de vidrio con elaborados diseños. Las cuentas se aplican una por una con cera de abejas y los diseños incluyen la flor de peyote y el maíz, ambos elementos importantes de la vida huichol. Los huicholes son un pueblo indígena del centro noroeste de México con una rica cultura y herencia artesanal.

A gorgeous and meaningful artwork. The beadwork is meticulous. The patterns and colours are mesmerising and vivid. And best of all it looks exactly like a jaguar! I love it and will treasure it. I also appreciated the wonderful wrapping and presentation, which meant this item was received in the UK in perfect condition. Wonderful. Warm cheers to Mexico!
