El colgante de plata de ley presenta 13 cuentas de plata a cada lado de un cabujón de jade negro pulido; las cuentas representan la corriente baktún según el Calendario Maya de Cuenta Larga. Según ese método de datación, el decimotercer baktun comenzó el 21 de diciembre de 2012. El colgante centra una cadena rolo de plata esterlina.
