En 1999, el Papa Juan Pablo II nombró a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe patrona de América, y se celebra el 12 de diciembre. Su conocida imagen apareció milagrosamente en la túnica de San Juan Diego, donde portaba rosas de Castilla como prueba de su apariencia para él. Guadalupe lo envió al obispo español para convencerlo de que construyera una iglesia en su honor. En esta cruz, Guadalupe es recibida en el Cielo por Dios y Sus ángeles.

“My First Novica Purchase From Ana Maria Gonzales”

Over time I have purchased a number of Ana Maria's stunning decoupage crosses and decorative boxes. This is the one that began my collection. While the feeling is rustic and antique, the cross itself is finely and perfectly finished--without flaw. The picture doesn't do it justice. There is substance to the pinewood and the edge is beveled and beautifully finished in a muted gold. The metal ring for hanging has the appearance of aged iron.The colors are clear, yet soft. The size is 11 inches high, small enough to fit above a doorway or in a grouping of objects, and still large enough to make an impression when hung alone. This is a very tasteful cross, crafted with care and artistry. I was so happy when I received it, that I immediately ordered a second cross from the artist, the larger "Virgin Morenita Guadalupe."

“Beautiful Work”

Novica is new to me, so when it popped up while I was browsing, I was skeptical, but decided to take a chance and ordered this beautiful Day of the Dead jewelry box. The workmanship is superior, the colors are fabulous and and a great artist touch. Not only was the product exceptional, it came gift wrapped with a thank you note from the artist. I was not expecting the attention to detail and the care when packaging. It also arrived in a timely manner and I was kept apprised of the shipping by email. Class act, I will definitely be ordering something in the future.
