Artesano balinés Komang Sulaksana utiliza una creativa variedad de materiales naturales para crear este juego de dos encantadores cuadernos. Cada cuaderno contiene 80 páginas de papel de paja de arroz y las cubiertas están hechas a mano con corteza de plátano y decoradas con hojas de kupu-kupu que han sido tratadas y secas para resaltar las llamativas venas de cada hoja. Luego se pintan las cubiertas, se decoran con canela y se atan con cordón de hierba agel.

“beautiful journal”

I just love these journals. I bought them for graduation gifts and kept one for myself. They are beautifully made--inside and out. They are delicate and sophisticated, also very light weight for travel. The handmade paper is great for writing or drawing.

“These two natural fiber journals are very special.”

I really like the fact that this artisan uses so many natural materials, from rice straw paper to covers made of banana bark fiber. These two black journals are decorated with kapu-kapu leaves and the veins of the leaves are very pretty. I love them!
