La Catrina sonriente se divierte en un collage de decoupage mientras Ana María González conmemora el Día de Muertos con un colorido cofre del tesoro. La palabra catrina se usa mucho en México para significar "elegante y pulido". El litógrafo José Guadalupe Posadas creó la Catrina esquelética, quien luego fue inmortalizada en los murales de Diego Rivera. En México, el Día de los Muertos se trata de celebrar la vida de los que han fallecido, en lugar de llorar sus muertes. La gente visita las tumbas con ofrendas, incluidas exhibiciones florales brillantes.

The box has cute decoupage pictures of Catrina and others celebrating the traditional and festive Day of the Dead in Mexico. Lots of skeletons and scull masks, and all very colorful. Very fun and well made and I will probably leave it out on a shelf all year.
