Ángel Cerón replica magistralmente el legendario chac mool escultura, encontrada frente al Templo Mayor de la Ciudad de México. Cerón esculpe a mano la pieza de cerámica que representa a un hombre con un elaborado tocado y ornamentación sosteniendo un cuenco sobre su vientre. Se cree que está diseñado para contener ofrendas rituales, tal vez corazones humanos. El nombre, chac mool, significa "jaguar rojo" y pretendía referirse a aquellas esculturas encontradas en la península de Yucatán, pero ahora se refiere a esculturas similares de diferentes comunidades prehispánicas, incluida la tolteca. Sirve como evidencia de la relación entre todas estas culturas antiguas antes de la conquista española.

Ive ordered several of these Codex pieces from Angel Ceron Artisan and they are beautiful works of art. Tezcatlipoca is amazing and I am lucky to have gotten one before they sold out. I have several others including Tlaloc and Quetzalcoatl, etc. They are incredible and worth every penny. I can say that the packaging they come in is 100% secure and that I am always amazed at how professionally they are packaged and shipped. They come from Mexico and always come with a hand written note on a postcard from Palenque.
