It's been prominently displayed for nearly 10 years and I still enjoy finding little nuances of the masks.

I am adding my fourth Alejandro Chavez Retablo to my collection because each one is filled with love and beauty and whenever I view them they always bring a smile to my face. Stunning hand wrought figures.

This is the second retablo I ve purchased from Mr Chavez. Please take time to watch the video of him making every single piece of this by hand. From mixing the clay from powder for the figures to cutting the wood for the frame. It s an intense amount of work and it shows! Highly recommended. I removed the mirror and use it as a picture frame and it looks unique and amazing!

There is an amazing amount of detali in this little mirror. I recently painted and replaced the sink with a Mexican tile backsplash and this sweet little detail fits in perfectly.
