Sin embargo, el toro resistió, usando su cuerno para atravesar la ladera de una montaña, provocando un diluvio de agua que agradó a los habitantes de Pucará. Maribel Posso Olivares se inspira en ese mito y elabora esta figura de cerámica en el estilo característico de Pupuja, pintando el toro rojo a mano con detalles en colores metálicos y motivos florales multicolores.

I just love this little guy. I have him on the mantle and enjoy him everyday. I hope to one day visit Peru and explore. But for now I have my little guy to dream with.
