"My journey into the world of vitreous enamel began when I attended the LAKME Fashion Week in 2004. The exquisite beauty of enamel jewelry captivated me, highlighting the intricate interplay of colors and craftsmanship. At once I made up mind to explore this unique art form, leading me to delve into the unpredictable yet rewarding realm of enamel.

"Eager to master enamel art, I sought out mentorship from my husband Kana Lomror, an esteemed figure in the field. Under his guidance, I immersed herself in the intricacies of the craft, completing advanced courses that honed my skills. This formal training, coupled with my relentless curiosity, allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the techniques and materials involved in creating stunning enamel pieces.

"The artistic process of creating vitreous enamel jewelry is a labor of love that showcases my commitment to quality and detail. Each piece of jewelry requires over 25-30 meticulous firings, a process that begins with sourcing high-quality copper. I carefully cut, clean, and shape the metal to form the foundation of my designs.

"The enamel itself is a finely ground glass that I prepare with great care. I crush glass chunks, wash the powder to remove impurities, and mixes colors to achieve the perfect hues. The application of each enamel layer is done with precision, followed by a drying phase before firing in a kiln preheated to temperatures exceeding 850°C. This intricate layering and firing process ensures a smooth, vibrant finish, making each piece uniquely beautiful and durable.

"In a world increasingly concerned with sustainability, I am committed to eco-friendly practices in my art. I prioritize the use of reclaimed metals and recycled glass, emphasizing the importance of minimizing environmental impact.
