La dulce melodía de la quena flauta evoca imágenes de las tranquilas tierras altas de los Andes. Quena significa "objeto con muchos agujeros" en el idioma quechua y se dice que ha cautivado a los pájaros para que se eleven por encima de la persona que lo toca. Esto puede no ser sorprendente, dado que las primeras versiones de la quena se elaboraban con hueso de cóndor. “A Beautiful Work of Music and of Art”

This quena is a real work of art. Im happy that I now have it in my home. I havent figured out how to play it, but there are directions. I will figure it out!

“Greatly disappointed!”

Im sorry, but I must say that I am quite disappointed because two of the pipes arrived with large cracks in them. One of the pipes is totally unplayable. I am heartbroken! I will keep this instrument and may be able to fix the pipe that will not play (Im checking with flute makers to learn how to do this), but the whole experience was very disheartening! The bag is lovely, but the instrument is compromised.
