La estampación a mano con bloques es una forma de arte milenaria que se cree se extendió por toda Asia durante el siglo IV d.C. La composición deseada se talla en un bloque de madera con un cincel, un martillo, una lima, clavos, etc. La estampación consiste en colocar la tela sobre mesas planas y realizar las impresiones con los bloques previamente tallados sumergidos en los tintes deseados.

“BEAUTIFUL!”

Im using this as a piece of showcase art work. I have it hanging over a screen- an elegant backdrop to a large Albany pottery vase. The colors of muted orange and purple almost sing out with balance and calm. Im loving what is gives to the space. (And Id post a photo but Im clueless how to do that) Thank you Rajnandinee and Srabonti!
