Artisan Zandra Lorena Sajbin starts with raw Guatemalan jade to create this uniquely beautiful pendant necklace for men or women. Represented in subtle relief on the jade's surface is the nahual Kan. A nahual is a spirit familiar associated with the day of one's birth, according to the Mesoamerican calendar system. The nahual 'Kan' is symbolized by the feathered serpent, and represents movement and evolution of all kinds, as well as justice, truth, intelligence and peace, the spontaneity of action, survival, power and sexual magic. The pendant is centered on an adjustable cotton cord.

These earrings arrived yesterday and they are beautiful! I immediately put them on. With the hook closure on the back, they were difficult to unhook. And I had to bend the metal to open it up wider to be able to insert in my ear. Then I had trouble closing the clasp and then opening it again to take off. Im worried that bending the earring every time I wear them will weaken the integrity of the metal and they may break. The metal is very soft and pliable.

I wear this ring often, especially when I will be in an environment where I can network with like-minded souls.
