Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu designs this charming decorative stool. Hand-carved out of sese wood, the stool is painted brown with an antiqued finish. On the base of the stool, the artisan carves a unique symbol known as Gye Nyame, which means "except God" in the Akan language. To the Ghanaian people, this symbol represents the supremacy of God.
