Vestido con la piel de un jaguar, un joven baila al son de un tambor invisible mientras imita los movimientos del ágil gato de la jungla. Rubén y Gilda Pérez representan una imagen de un jarrón descubierto en Altar de Sacrificios, un antiguo sitio maya ubicado río arriba de Yaxchilán. Una ofrenda en el Entierro 96, el jarrón policromado original está hecho de terracota y se exhibe en el Museo de Antropología e Historia de Guatemala.
Los artesanos guatemaltecos graban los intrincados motivos en jade natural y exhiben la placa sobre una base de madera de pino negro.

This is a beautiful stone but the band is very small considering it was advertised as a men s bracelet. My husband is not a large person but we will have to either return or add links.
