“Glad I took a chance!”

This artist was either new to Novice or revamping their page when I bought my first of their paintings. There were no photos of the works in full and only 2-3 works offered. I took a chance on this and had no idea what it would look like. This makes me smile! Now there r lots of works on the artists page and most are on my wish list!

“New style for my home!”

I think I got this just as this artist was joining the Novica family. There was not a full length picture of the art on their page. Just a close up of the artist signature..I took a chance, because I am a bird person. The artist had only 3 paintings listed! Since this one, I have purchased 2 more other paintings and have more on my wish list. Now there are many paintings and all have full pics. I like this artists creations, and the hope to collect more!

"I come from a family deeply involved in the traditional art form of Madhubani painting. My artistic journey has been greatly influenced by my parents and siblings. My mother taught me the intricate techniques and stories behind the art, while my father's folk tales inspires many of my paintings. Collaborating with my creative family members in our vibrant home helped me to honor our heritage while exploring new designs in Madhubani art.

"As a teenager, I delved deep into painting, blending traditional themes with contemporary elements in my Madhubani art. "I teach Madhubani art to others too! Sharing my passion for Madhubani art is something I genuinely enjoy. "I create my own vibrant colors using natural dyes from plants and minerals, connecting my work to traditional methods or sometimes I use Acrylic colors. I prefer using handmade paper for its unique texture and absorbency, allowing colors to blend beautifully. I use brushes made from animal hair or local materials for intricate designs in Madhubani art. Black ink, often made from natural sources like soot, creates strong outlines. I sometimes incorporate embroidery threads for added texture and dimension in my paintings.
