Customer & Stylist Suggestions

Meet the Artist
I've learned that true peace and gratitude come from not comparing ourselves to others; everything we have is a gift from God, and we should be thankful rather than boastful." "My name is Sri Widiani, and I was born in Jakarta in 1966, in a bustling metropolitan area. One of the most special aspects of my upbringing was the emphasis on education, thanks to my parents, who both worked as police officers in North Jakarta. As the eldest of three siblings, I experienced a significant life change when we moved to Bali in 1971. Life in Bali was a stark contrast to the fulfillment and facilities I had in Jakarta."Throughout my education, from elementary to junior high school, I excelled in scouting and even won championships. I spent 21 years working as a civil servant in the police force, but my income was often insufficient. Seeking additional income, I became interested in silver jewelry, finding it easy to learn about this craft, as it was prevalent in my surroundings."Despite my busy schedule, I make time for my hobbies, which include swimming, dancing, and scouting. I've received awards at both the provincial and Asian levels for these pursuits. I’m married and have three children — two daughters and a son — while my husband also works in the jewelry field. After starting my family, I focused on raising my children."The early years of my marriage were challenging, but with determination and prayer, I overcame many obstacles. One story that stands out is how I began selling merchandise after work to support my family. I've learned that true peace and gratitude come from not comparing ourselves to others; everything we have is a gift from God, and we should be thankful rather than boastful. My guiding principles for success are simple: study, work hard, and pray, always expressing gratitude for the results."The most challenging designs I create are customized pieces made for clients. In my jewelry workshop, I serve as the administrator and contribute design ideas. My workshop has eighteen artisans, six of whom are family members. We work with materials such as pure silver, recycled silver, and gold, using tools like scissors, drills, stoves, pliers, and sandpaper. While I handle sales and customer relations, my craftsmen, including my husband, bring the designs to life."I learned about Novica through relatives and friends, who shared that it could help showcase my creations worldwide. I hope Novica can assist me in expanding my market and growing my humble workshop." Hand-crafted silver jewelry
