“Might be my friends favorite birthday gift!”

My good friend turned 40 and I gave her this box as a gift. At the party she received lots of very cool gifts, but when she opened this, everyone commented on how special it was. My friend kept picking it up throughout the evening. She really loved it!

“This box shows Ms. Gonzalez has an interest in the Huichol culture in her country..”

Her website shows she has made many boxes which highlight the Huichol culture and its religious beliefs and gods. I really love the mandala and other pictures on this box; it is very interesting and colorful. I also learned something about this culture from reading the descriptions of her art work. I found it all very interesting and I want to thank her for making such lovely art while educating me. I will purchase another of her Huichol art works soon!
