Robert Aidoo-Taylor diseña esta pulsera para hombre en oro y negro en honor a la reina Amina de Hausaland. Nacida en 1533 en lo que hoy se conoce como Zaira, Nigeria, Amina también fue una guerrera feroz que gobernó durante 34 años. Sin embargo, hay quienes creen que ella era una leyenda y no una persona real. Se dice que una vez, cuando estuvo encarcelada, le vendaron los ojos y la encadenaron, y la condenaron a muerte con veneno. A su verdugo le dieron el veneno en una botella en forma de cono y lo amenazaron de muerte si derramaba algo. Tuvo que desatar y quitar los pliegues de los ojos de Amina, pero no pudo hacerlo mientras sostenía el vil. Cuando Amina pudo ver cómo él estaba luchando, le dijo que se quitara una de sus pulseras y la usara como soporte para la botella en forma de cono. Al darse cuenta de que ella acababa de salvarle la vida, el verdugo decidió ayudarla a escapar en lugar de envenenarla.

Lovely and well made”

I thought the bracelets were well made, but I bought them for my grandson n they barely fit. Too small! However the delivery was quick and the packaging was beautiful!!
