El valiente San Miguel Arcángel mata a Satanás como un dragón en este panel en relieve de pared de la Familia Montalvo en Perú. Esculpieron esta dramática escena a mano, transformando la rica veta de la madera de cedro en una vívida viñeta de la fe cristiana con aplicaciones de hojas de bronce.

El nombre de Michael significa "¿Quién es como Dios?" que fue el grito de guerra de los ángeles buenos en la batalla contra Satanás y sus seguidores. Es el patrono y protector de la Iglesia, así como de los paracaidistas, policías, tenderos, marineros y enfermos.

Este panel en relieve firmado está equipado con un gancho en la parte posterior para colgarlo.

“Beautiful but the colors are dull”

I was really impressed with the craftmanship but I feel that the colors of paint are a little dull and there isnt very much contrast, so the details of the wood carving dont really show or pop as much as Id like. It is a beautiful piece of art and very unique. It just pains me that the bottom portion of Michaels wings are basically invisible if you arent looking at it pretty closely. Their woodwork is amazing and unmatched.
