Distinguida por una nariz larga y puntiaguda, esta máscara es conmovedora en su expresión. Nyoman Naranata transforma la suave madera de hibisco en Bondres. Bondres, el muy querido payaso de la danza dramática balinesa, suele aparecer al final de la actuación para añadir un toque de comedia. Su ceño fruncido sugiere el rango de expresión del personaje.

La madera de hibisco exhibe colores que van desde el blanco hasta el duramen gris claro, gris oscuro o incluso negro. Esta ocurrencia natural rara vez se puede replicar, lo que hace que cada talla sea excepcionalmente única.
