For summer, I redecorate the master bedroom in a costal theme. These coasters are on the bedside tables to hold the cold lemon water we have there during the night if we happen to wake up and want a sip. They fit perfectly with the theme of the room and are a bit larger in circumference than I thought - which is great as this accomodates various sizes of glasses or mugs. The blue is a beautiful shade and although the design in the fish is somewhat etched, the surface is smooth and even, providing a sturdy base. They are also thick, which means I don't need to worry about heat-transfer to the oak of our tables.

Fun and Whimsical

I purchased eight of Maria's plates to make a grouping and I have been thrilled with each one. I love the whimsical and unique characters she creates. All eight of the ones I chose are animals and this crazy, goofy fish is a great addition to the group. He is smaller than some of the other plates, so will provide a nice variety. He is excellent. Very nice and well made. This planter pot DOES have 2 drainage holes. The description states that it has no drainage. So novica might want to address that. Got it for friend as a gift and she is quite pleased.
