I was so proud to give this beautiful masterpiece as a Christmas gift this past year. When it arrived at my house, I could not wait to look at it, but it was packaged so beautifully, that I decided to let the recipient open it. Needless to say, I was a little stressed to see how it looked when she opened it. What a fabulous surprise! I was in awe seeing it in person,. Each piece of this tree is carved so meticulously and placed so perfectly to create this wonderful vision. Needless to say, it was a bit hit with the recipient, who absolutely loves it and has it on display in the main room of her home. Thank you, Mr. Barrow, for sharing your talent with the world!!!

If I could have only one jewelry box...

I collect jewelry boxes and had several times more capacity than I do jewelry to store in them. However if I had to pare down my collection to one item, it would be this one. Even if I had to pare it down to only the boxes whose space I actually need, this one would be a viable contender against the option of keeping multiple boxes, especially if space was a concern. Each drawer is capacious and the shallow but ample storage in each compartment means that it would be very easy to find things. It's also very pretty, even as someone who doesn't usually go for green as a decor choice, apart from plants. The colors don't pop as much in natural light as they do in pictures, but the engravings are still really nice.
