My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
The art work is fabulous. The wood is very light weight, which surprised me, but it is a beautiful piece. I bought this as a gift for my son. I'll know after Christmas if he likes it as well as I do. This artist is very talented.
