This sculpture is creatively constructed and reminds me of the excitement and romance of traveling to exotic places. It makes me smile and think of places where I have traveled.
I couldn't resist having this in my office (I'm a biologist) and think it looks great. It's a great take on the microscope. I've had lots of people asking where I obtained it. Great find I made!
My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
