Not cartoonish but also not anatomically lifelike. I thought about returning them because I already have and love Flora's dragonfly amber drop earrings. But these are so cute that I'm just going to have to wear amber more often.
These earrings are spectacular, they are full of details and the length is perfect to contrast with the skin and hair. They have a bit of an ethnic air. The colors are lovely and the earrings are light.
From a distance, in a parking lot -- a woman inside an office saw this necklace around my neck and had to yell to compliment it.
