Eventhough the elephants are both facing the same direction and their is no right or left earrings, it does not matter. The earring still look beautiful. This is a beautiful, unique item created by a gifted artisan. I purchased this necklace as a gift and "good luck charm" for a friend who is leaving soon to teach in Cambodia for six months.
