In memory of Chris
Bought this ring to commemorate the life of my son, Chris who passed away this April with a short but valiant battle with esophageal cancer. The teardrop represents the month of his birth and the tears he shed in knowing that his life on Earth would be ending soon and he would be returning to his maker. The teardrop is delicate in wide band of beautiful scroll work coming together in the center of the inside of the ring to form what looks like a butterfly, which represents "new life"--eternal life for him and a life without his physical presence for those he left behind. He will always be remembered. We love you and miss you.

sparkles on the finger
Made of stone fragments that are transparent and sparkle. I would have preferred less of the highly contrasting dark navy stone in the pastel collection - the pinks, clears, apricots and lemon shades are lovely. It reminds me of a stained glass window. The setting is quite heavy, and it needs to fit well.
