I love this piece! It is so cute and it is large enough to make a statement, but not too large. So you can tell it is an octopus! The pearl is quite pretty and has a very nice sheen to it. The bail has a sweet design on it which shows attention to detail. The description said the cord would be about 18 or 20 inches. Mine is 18 which fits but I would have preferred 20 inches. I can use another chain and the bail is nice and large plus I have an extender sterling chain I can add to the cord. It looks nice on the cord. I do wish, however that many artists would automatically use extender chains that offer the option of 18 inches to 20 inches. I think it would improve the sale of many necklaces. But all in all I highly recommend this octopus necklace. It is beautiful.

I loved the "black pearl" necklace so why not have one in white, too? The silver work is absolutely wonderful, just like the other one. You won't regret either choice!

I've carried a jewelry bag for years that has finally fallen apart. When I saw this one, I knew I had to have it because it's constructed exactly like the one I had, and it's way prettier. I love the fabric and it has plenty of pockets for keeping items separated and safely stowed. It seems to be very well made. I was surprised to find an additional zipper at the very top that opens up a compartment that's the entire length of the bag--this is an excellent place to tuck a light scarf or delicate hosiery to protect them from damage in a suitcase or travel bag. I would seriously consider buying this as a gift for anyone else who travels or for someone like a crafter or knitter who might need to carry small items in a larger bag--this would be excellent for keeping stitch markers, measuring tapes, small scissors, tapestry needles or other crafting sundries under control.
