Perfect gift for my coworker

Very cute and my son loves playing with it

It's a light wood, not too heavy. I have it stopping a door on carpet. I'm not sure how it would work on a wooden floor. There's no grip on the bottom, it's all just one piece of wood so far as I can tell. It works great on carpet, though. And my son likes to pick it up and point to the toad. It makes him smile. Just a nice little piece of understated, yet special decor.

beautifully detailed owl and other creatures

I like the weight of this, it feels and looks solid, not like an empty mould. The knock is not a deep sound, but it is loud enough. The details on the based of the knocker are really lovely. There seems to be a lion or perhaps a yali head or at the owl's feet, and two duck or swan heads forming the tops of the hinge around under the lion-cat head.
