My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
I love this. It is so unique and crafted so well. I make jewelry and thought about using it to display my jewelry for sale, but I decided I don't want a lot of people touching it and break it. Now I will wear my jewelry instead of having it sit in a box where I don't see it and forget I have it.
My dad and I always get either other little trinkets for problem-solving gifts so I decided to get this for him for Christmas. He LOVED it! We bring it out every holiday and try to do the puzzles together.
