A beautiful Valentines Day gift

I purchased this box as a sweet gift for my 18-year old for Valentines Day. It arrived in plenty of time, and was incredibly beautiful. I was a little apprehensive just because of the medium used, but since I have had such lovely experiences with Novica in the past, I went ahead and purchased it. I had no idea that papier mache could come out so beautifully. The quality of the workmanship was beyond what I was hoping for. It was absolutely meticulously made and packaged beautifully as well. Another Way Of Perserving One Of Our Wildlife.

I have purchased several items from this artist for myself but when I laid my eyes on this beautiful "snowy owl" I knew I had to buy this for a friend who is a HUGE fan of Hedwig from the J.K. Rowling's books of "Harry Potter". The incredible coloring, lines and design of this owl by the artisan makes you think that he had a snowy owl in his studio posing as a model for this ceramic piece. When I presented it to my friend, he couldn't have been more surprised but also more happy upon receiving it which in turn made me pleased.
