This craftsperson is known for her tablecloths and has branched out to shawls and I am grateful that she did. This shawl was a gift. Lightweight and intricate with lovely color choices. My son's girlfriend loved it

This shawl's background material is fairly finely woven with a paisley pattern. The embroidery, in contrast, is made with fairly heavy thread. The colors are beautiful. The heavy embroidery makes this particularly good for wearing with a winter coat or on a very chilly day
