Meaning "peace" in the Akan language, the African rubber wood mask is carved by hand featuring ornate aluminum on the nose. Dazzling beadwork in red, black, green, white, yellow and blue complement the painted details of this wonderful mask.

“The Colors Are Not As Bright In Real Life”

I wish the colors were more vibrant like the photo on Novicas website, my only complaint. Otherwise, it is fun mask, well done !

“Fabulous artwork”

“Conversational piece due to its meaning.”

The mask lacks vibrance. The colors are dull. Very Primitive in nature. The red doesnt appear as vivid as the photo. The size is nice. I recognize that one cant duplicate a mask over and over exactly due to it being handmade.
