Wearing a blue headdress, the face of a woman is depicted in red. Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu creates this mask, which is hand-carved from sese wood and accented with embossed aluminum and brass that evoke traditional scarification practices. This mask is named Alheri, meaning "grace" in the Hausa language.

It is another great addition to my collection of masks. The vibrant red contrasts beautifully with my golden-hued walls.
