The Balinese artisan uses sawo wood to create the pendant, accenting the wood with six amethyst gems in bezel settings. Sterling silver accents and a sterling silver rolo chain finish the necklace with plenty of shine.

“Beautiful Ring Is Very Comfortable!”

This is a beautiful Ring, with little stars and moons along the very comfortable 7mm band. Thicker band stays put better, too. this ring will go well with whatever you wear. I highly recommend this ring. I love the little beading detail too, around the beautiful moonstone.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Microcredit Financing

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.

Caring for Children

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.

Buana provides for the education of his two children.
