Using the Balinese jewelry motifs known as bun (wirework) and jawan (tiny silver granules), Eka Devi crafts a wonderfully ornate pair of earrings. The earrings are formed of sterling silver with a combination finish, and accented with teardrops of faceted amethyst. The design is named for Besakih, an ancient temple on the island of Bali.

These are really unique, and I love the little spot of red in them. Perfect when you want to dress a bit conservatively without being blah. Or ANY time you dont want to be Blah! They are so special that I am almost afraid to wear them as I dont want to lose one--EVER! So I wear earring guards and am careful when removing winter coats and scarves. Really, really special earrings

I bought these for myself as a birthday present - love the simple design and light, easy wearing feel. I wear them often.
