Batik Rayon Skirt in Turquoise and Lemon from Bali, "Balinese Breeze in Turquoise"

Inspired by fall, Balinese artisan Endah creates this fabulous skirt. Crafted from suave rayon, this high-low skirt is decorated using the batik method; a wax resist is stamped by hand onto the fabric before it is treated with colorful dyes, resulting in lemon yellow leaf motifs against a body of turquoise. An elastic waistline gives the skirt a gathered hemline.
