Batik techniques on cotton retell the legend of a majestic rooster owned by the king. This shoulder bag from Wahyu Sulistiani depicts the sawunggaling pattern from Central Java, which symbolizes the power and beauty of Javanese culture. Lined in black, the bag features golden beadwork accents and opens to reveal a convenient pocket.

I am very happy to receive this bright beautiful handbag from Bali. The pattern is similar to the picture but the shape of the bag is more rectangular than the shape in the picture. I believe that the making of this handbag probably took many hours of work. I would like to compliment the artist on a job well done. Thank you.

The detailing is so carefully laid out, it is stunning. I was almost afraid to start using it, afraid I wouldndamage it, but it is very sturdy. I love it.
