A trio of monkeys is depicted in celadon ceramic. One covers its ears, another its mouth, and the third places its hands over its eyes. Known in Thailand as "the three monkeys," the meaning of the images is that humans should not receive bad things or evil from the environment that surrounds them. Kanda sculpts the elegant figurines in clay. Using the celadon technique, she colors the smooth blue contours with a delightfully crackled glaze.

A graceful, smooth, beautiful vase with that wonderful celadon finish. I love the design: the elephant-decorated base is lifted up from the bottom of the piece like a small platform. Surprisingly heavy for its size. Looks wonderful sitting next to Kandas celadon cat and small plate of the same color. My little touch of Thailand!

I had my jewelry in an op bowl and kept knocking Tham off my night stand onto the floor. For some reason just having the loud has stopped that. Plus, its gorgeous and nice to see no matter whats inside!

I love this adorable planter! I took off one star because the planting area is quite small and it s expensive. But I do enjoy it very much.
