The Feathered-Serpent deity of ancient Mesoamerican culture, known as Quetzalcoatl, is the protagonist of this exceptional alebrije figurine that pays homage to traditional Mexican folk art in a most exquisite manner. The warm and contrasting hues and intricate motifs that adorn this decorative accent are the inventions of artisans Alejandro and Rocio Jimenez, who also carved this figurine by hand using copal wood, all in a palette of orange and blue hues.
