Violeta Pacheco creates a beautiful cardigan with classic cable-knit braids. The open-front long-sleeved sweater comes to life in a rich ginger orange. The Andean artisan selects fibers from recycled PET, combining them with luxurious tanguis cotton. Exceptionally lightweight and absorbent, the cotton is well adapted to Peru's central and southern coasts where it is grown.

I own only handknit jumpers, which are unique, irregular artisan pieces. This jumper is too perfect to be handknit as all the seams and knit are exacting like a machine made one. Im not too sure how handmade is being defined here but Im not sure it matches mine. The finish is too flawless compared to any modern or traditional handknit from the Scottish Isles, Ireland, or Scandinavia. I even have some USA handknits that are five decades old that are still wearing gloriously. Its not my intent to be mean but this garment is a disappointment-maybe my standards are just different...apologies

I love how lightweight and soft this cardigan is. It fits true to size and even though it is lightweight, is not see through. Beautiful shade of red.

I love this relaxed, casual sweater. Its often my go to sweater. I can dress it up or down. Its warm but I dont get too hot. Its also not heavy or bulky so I find it very comfortable to wear. After purchasing one color, I bought a second in a different color and may buy more!
